For individuals who are outside the 45-day grace period and would like to register for Virtus, they will need to submit a Freshdesk ticket. This is the email they will receive:

In accordance with the Diocese of Arlington's Safe Environment Policy, all applicants are required to complete the VIRTUS: Protecting God's Children training within 45 days of their parish or ministry liaison approving their application.
Because this requirement was not completed within the required timeframe, OCYP is happy to assist you in registering for the next available training session that falls within 45 days of today's date.
If you prefer to attend a session that is more than 45 days from today, we ask that you contact our office again once you are within 45 days of your desired training date. This allows us to prioritize registration for individuals who are currently within their required compliance window.
Please note that because you are currently outside the required 45-day compliance period, you are not authorized to volunteer or begin employment in any parish, school, ministry, or diocesan entity until you have successfully completed the required VIRTUS: Protecting God's Children training and your completion has been recorded in your OCYP compliance record. Your parish or ministry liaison will be notified once your record has been updated and can confirm when you are eligible to begin serving. Participating in any volunteer activity or beginning employment before receiving written confirmation from the Office of Child and Youth Protection (OCYP) that all Safe Environment requirements have been satisfied is a violation of diocesan policy and may result in immediate disqualification from volunteer service or employment within the Catholic Diocese of Arlington.
