April is National Child Abuse Prevention month. During this month, the Office for the Protection of Children and Young People is working to call attention to the tragedy of child abuse in all its forms and provide solutions to combat it
As a parish, there are so many different ways and opportunities raise the awareness to this hidden problem. Over the past year, due to COVID-19, cases of child neglect and abuse have dramatically risen.
OPCYP would like to encourage you and the ministries that have been entrusted to you to consider raising awareness about child abuse prevention after Easter throughout the month of April.
