If you receive an error message when attempting to create a new account that looks like this:

this is because you already have an account with the Diocese of Arlington and do not need to create an account. Instead, you need to log into your existing account.  This may be difficult, because you may never have logged in before, and may never have been involved in the creation of your account.

To access your account for the first time, you will need to use the "I don't know my ..." links at the bottom of the application login page.

If you do not know your username, start with that link.  To get your username, you will need to enter the email address that we have on file for your account.  If you are unable to do this, or if we do not have an email address on file for you, please contact the Office for the Protection of Children/Young People (OPCYP) at 703-841-3847 for further assistance.

Once you have confirmed your email address and have your username, you will be able to reset your password and have it sent to that email address.  If the email address was previously valid, but is no longer, you can contact OPCYP to update your email address.

Once you have the password reset email, click the link enclosed and create a new password.  Passwords must be at least eight characters long.

Finally, you can now use the reclaimed username and reset password to sign in, as above.
